Joint Stock Company Olainfarm is one of the largest companies in the Baltic countries with more than 45 years of experience in the production of pharmaceuticals, active chemical substances and other chemicals.
The company was founded in 1972 as a state-owned enterprise called the Olaine Chemical Pharmaceutical Plant, the main purpose of which was to provide pharmaceutical substances and intermediates of all the factories of the Soviet Union engaged in the production of finished dosage forms.
At present, Olainfarm is one of the largest representatives of the pharmaceutical industry in Latvia and other Baltic countries, which employs about 1,000 highly qualified specialists. The company owns modern technologies from international practice and has a certificate of conformity of production of good manufacturing practices (GMP), an environmental certificate of compliance with ISO 14001: 2004, and is also certified in accordance with the US Inspection Standard (FDA).
